Italy Won!

Italy won the world cup. 1-1 at the end of extra time, they won 5-3 on penalties.

Chemistry Olympiad cont.

Ivan has made it into the top 20 for the Chemistry Olympiad. He will attend a week long camp in Auckland in the holidays to select a team of 4 to represent New Zealand.

School restarted

Susan is in a group of 5 doing Year 9 (she's Year 8) maths.  
Esther is in an A stream maths class.  
Simon represented the school at the Western Colleges athletics sports.  
Ivan got a blue tie for getting greater than an average GPA of 75 over in six subjects.

Chemistry Olympiad cont.

Ivan has passed the entry exam for the chemistry olympiad, and will now do weekly assignments, leading upto a training camp in April 2006

Ballet Exams

Susan achieved a high honours in grade 4 NZAMD ballet (90-94%).
Esther achieved a high honours in pre-elementary NZAMD ballet (90-94%).

Simon recieved third place in the Scots College Science Fair for his project on leaky buildings

Bruce has been nominated by Scots College in the volunteer category for his work during the soccer session.

Simon has been invited to attend the North Island Secondary School's Chess Championship in Palmerston North as part of the Scots College junior team.
